  I've had an account with the Credit union almost all my life. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They're like family and are always there for anything I need. I've always had a great experience banking with them and this is the only place I've ever used for a car loan. They always have great interest rates!

  Love the Blue Ridge branch! Been with them for nearly 7 years and have never had any issues like you hear coming from those with other banks. Also, you can't beat their loan interest rates!

  What a joke of a bank went to check about getting some vehicles refinanced and spoke with some lady and will be getting her name by sometime for this review and she was very rude and told me if my credit score ain’t at 600 we could not help need less to say I went to three banks before them and they was very respectful and wanted to help me out to get me better interest rate and try to do something for me but this bank is a joke I was not a customer at the other 3 banks I went to and they was willing to want to help me out and do something this bank here didn’t want to even attempt to do something even know my credit score is good

We strive to treat our members with the upmost care and respect and have many five star reviews. If you would like to come by and discuss this situation in more detail with either office, we will be more than happy to take a look at your application and go over your options. I am confident that our employee was only trying to save your credit from a hard inquiry given the information you provided her. Hard inquiries can lower your credit score significantly and since you had visited three other banks it’s possible they pulled credit. We offer loans based on credit tiers. Credit scores of 600 and below are our “D” tier of credit pricing.

  Disappointed with the rudeness of the folks at the Ducktown branch. They would only clear $200 on large check and held it for a week, despite that being a significant financial hardship for us. Really showed no concern for us as long-term customers who never bounce checks or deposit bad checks. I thought a credit union would be more caring than a bank, but I guess not.

  I've banked there for years. Always good service, great loan rates, and atmosphere. Wish they were open on Wednesdays. I seem to only need to do things like cash/deposit a check when they're closed.

  Thank you for the review! Unfortunately we are closed on Wednesday but we do have the after hours box where you can drop your deposit or payment and it will be processed on Wednesday morning. We are also open on Saturday as a convenience to our members. Thank you again for the nice review. We value you as a member!
