  I generally have a really good experience. some of the stuff with community financial is a little bit odd in terms of their information systems, but I like the friendly and family oriented atmosphere. They are always helpful when it comes to getting a car loan as well. overall I think it's good to have a credit union on your team and I'm glad that I have community financial. I have been banking with them ever since I was 8. That's over 20 years.

  Terrible. I am a 20 year customer. My minor's son account was transferred to the State with no notification. Both parents had bank accounts there, neither were contacted. I went to deposit money in my sons account and found out they transferred it. Individual was not helpful and was almost bothered with us. Did not apologize. Was not helpful!!!! I ended up closing all my accounts there including my other child's account which was not sent to the State. I understand regulations but at least help your customer figure out how to get their child's college fund back. Not just say go to this website and fill out a form. Train your managers on customer service.

  Been banking with them for almost 30 years. Auto loan, savings acct., checking acct. , home equity loan, direct deposit . I've never had one problem. Best place I've ever banked at. Everyone at the Northville branch go's out of their way to help you any way they can.

  I have been a member of three different banks so far. CFCU is head and shoulders above the bigger main banks. Absolute best staff and customer service.

  The atm has errors all the time being on the phone with customer support is so frustrating because there super slow and take long just to answer security questions don’t recommend this bank at all.
