Shelby Register1I reached out to this bank about a construction loan June 2021. After filling out my application and providing required documents, Lindsay Jones informed me due to three late CC payments, they couldn't offer a loan, but if I could show proof that information was invalid to let her know. I called the CC company, showed them where I had made payments on time, and had all 3 late payments cleared from my credit history. I contacted the bank again, provided a letter from the CC company showing that the 3 payments had been deleted, and was told that they were having a meeting that Wednesday and would let me know. MONTHS went by of contacting the loan officer each week, and I was told the same thing, "no decision made" and "a meeting this week to discuss." I was never told yes. I was never told no. The last communication I had was another, "I will let you know after the meeting Wednesday afternoon." In September (yes, September,) I was able to secure a construction loan from another bank without any issue whatsoever and a stellar rate. I wish this bank had the professionalism to provide someone with a yes or no instead of baiting them along with unanswered inquiries. Would not recommend for any type of financing if you value professionalism and honest communication.

Aaron Hicks1I originally opened 3 accounts here, business, savings, and personal. After learning that I could only mobile deposit up to $5000 they would not up the amount when asked. I make purchases that are more than $2000 through personal and business, this requires you to call the bank and ask permission to spend your money when the amount is over that!? Are you kidding me… I have to call GRANDMA before I make a purchase with MY MONEY!!? CBOPC bank advertises that they are there to make banking easy for your business..HAH!! I have left for a REAL bank that can actually handle a grown adult's banking needs. This bank useless! Unless your a 14 year old looking to start a savings account!

Chris Keith5Community Bank of Pickens County has been great to work with. They were so helpful through the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) Loan process from start to finish. Their customer service was the best I've ever experienced from a bank. Thank you!

I will definitely return to this bank for future banking needs.

Kaylyn Bush2When I first opened my account it was good but now I’ve been locked out of my account for months and I’ve called multiple times for help. I either get told there’s nothing they can do (rudely) or simply get ignored and hung up on. They HIGHLY promote online banking but there is ALOT of issues with it...

Ashley Kell1We have been with this bank for 5 years, my husband joined a year ago. Recently he was suppose to get his direct deposit on Thursday. We waited patiently called Friday at 1 and asked. The women was rude and talked to my husband like he was dirt ! They cancled his account without his permission no notification, BULL. We went up there talked to bookkeeping just because he didn't have but 2$ in there it would be reaccrivate Monday. I called and reported the women in bookkeeping. She raised her voice when my Husband was nice and it bothered her to look his account up. Definitely Switching banks !!
