Lyssah Van Baalen5EDIT: I have since worked with the bank several times - in particular with Shawna, and my experience has been excellent. I am attributing earlier troubles to either covid-related issues or short term problems. I have updated my rating to 5 stars to reflect the changes in service. My experience does not seem to mirror others, so it is possible I am just having bad luck or timing. However, I have had an extremely difficult time getting in contact with this bank regarding the affairs of my recently deceased mother. Of the several times I have tried calling the bank, I have only been able to talk to a person once, four months ago. Otherwise, I am on hold forever and when you try to leave a voice mail, as suggested by the hold information, it tells you it is full. When I did talk to someone finally, they were helpful, but did not follow-up with the actions that needed to be taken after our conversation as promised and I was left having to reinstate contact and go through it all again, which is highly frustrating - and full disclosure - I am writing this review feeling highly frustrated. Because of these things, I would not choose to make this my home bank, I want better communication and follow-up for a place I entrust with my finances. Online chat seems to be the only way you can get anything done.

Harli Bales1I made a mistake with my account and went to speak to a manager to see how I could fix it, and the manager was incredibly rude and condescending and then after my fiance said I should just close the account the manager said they'd come after me in a very threatening tone. There was no reason for her to speak this way, I understood the mistake was mine and her way about answering me was just incredibly inappropriate. Do not got to this bank unless you want to be treated like a child if you make a mistake.

Katie Garno1I don't ever write reviews but this was too much to not say something. I was accompanying a friend to ask a couple questions about her account. We were being helped by a woman who didn't have a name tag but claimed to be the manager. My friend simply asked if there was anything she could do about the issue with her account. This manager was the most rude condescending person and laughed in my friends face. She was not helpful in any way. Then when she asked about closing the account, this woman, in the most threatening tone, told my friend that people would come after her. It baffles me that this woman even has any clients still banking with her. Just truly, unbelievable.

Brooke Northway1I cancelled a check and it was spent a few days later by a person of fraud and the bank has not helped me get the money back or even given me the steps to know how to even get my money back. We waited the 90 days after it was cancelled hoping we’d get the money back and the bank just laughed and told us they can’t do anything about it. It was cancelled and the bank still allowed it to go through. This is a horrible bank and they won’t help so much for customer’s satisfaction.
Response from the ownerHi Brooke - Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience at our Washington location. If you could please contact us at 866.360.5370 or email [email protected] to discuss this issue further, a C1st Representative will be happy to assist you. Thank you! - Jessica

Dan Smith1Told my sister in law she was approved for a car loan over the phone. As they have banked there for years. Then when she selected a car they said they couldn't help. I took her to another credit union and they approved it for them. They have since switched all of their accounts.
Response from the ownerHi Dan - Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for you and your sister. If you would like to discuss this issue more, please contact us at 866.360.5370 or email [email protected]. Thank you! - Jessica
