REALLY - also dont charge a fee because your ATM is broke - not my issue don’t buy china stuff ! Do Better !

Kyle Harrison1This is my first negative review I've ever written but I feel like Commerce definitely deserves it. I walked into the lobby and it took their team 20 minutes to acknowledge me when they had available staff. When someone finally came up to the counter and asked what I had wanted they told me to go wait in their waiting area to speak with their staff sitting at the desks, who were occupied with other customers. Normally I'd have no issue waiting but while I was waiting I overheard other customers that had walked in after I did, who went up to the counter for exactly the same issue I had, except they were never told to wait in the waiting area, they were helped immediately. So after about 3 times of this occurring while I was waiting I went up to the counter to ask why they were able to help those customers and not me. I was told "I don't know I didn't help you." I asked if she could help me and she said yes but I would have to wait behind the people who came in 20 minutes after I did. By this time I had been sitting in commerce bank for 45 minutes. I've never experienced such backwards and terrible customer service, but based on the other reviews that's what this branch strives for.

Brooke Simons1My family has experienced horrific customer service from this branch specifically. I have been directed to the branch manager on multiple occasions to get assistance with an issue I am having with my account... many phonecalls and voicemails over the past 2 months and I have still never heard from her. I have gotten some help from the larger regional customer service lines, but even then, I get contradictory information from employees and found they often cannot answer my questions. I have been told on multiple occasions that someone would follow up with me and that has proven to be false. I have completely lost my trust in this bank. I do not recommend opening an account here. I have had a much better experience with larger institutions, such as US Bank and Schwab.

Blake Neal1The handling of the new corona virus policies and procedures has been poor. Different sites have different hours posted, policy seems to change weekly. I went in today to open an account, a week ago I was told that they could do it in the drive through and today I was told I had to make an appointment. Don't bank here, go to a large chain like BoA where everything is consistent and works. There are no advantages to banking with a small bank like Commerce, their apps, website, and and logistics just don't stack up.

The Kansas Bee Company1I run a small business, so I am not the type to leave negative reviews, but this branch has horrible customer service. I've had my personal account at this specific branch since 2000, but I've been with Commerce since 1997. I emailed a complaint and called in a complaint to Commerce 7 days ago and the branch manager from this branch has yet to reach out to me. They simply don't care about my business. A recent incident there was so outrageous, I have no choice but to phase out my accounts and move them to Arvest Bank. I have my business accounts with Arvest and they know my name and treat me with the utmost respect and kindness. If you are a Cass County resident, I highly suggest you not open any accounts at this Commerce location.

Emmanuel Hamby1This place is a joke. If you ever have a slightly complex issue goodluck! Because they won't help you, you will end up in an endless cycle of being on hold and being transferred to multiple departments. They will take your money and not think twice about it. And getting ahold of upper management is literally impossible

Al Risden5I've always been able to have all my needs meet by either the ATM drive through or by the people inside, tellers / other bank employees. The location is central to the population center so it's very accessible. I've not encountered unusually high service charges and this is not even my primary banking facility.

Chris L McClish5We have had Commerce Bank for several years with no problems. They don't seem to be as fee crazy as other banks. This particular branch was a convenient location for us and the employees have always been friendly.

Lisa Moore and all of the folks at the branch in Belton are courteous and extremely helpful. She will take the time to find out about you and then find the account that best serves your personal and/or business needs. I have over six separate accounts at Commerce Bank for various purposes. Any time any kind of banking issue or need arises, they are just a phone call away.
