Listen - and I know that I may encompass a degree of berating for saying this, but honestly, if you are blessed to receive a loan via CIG Financial, your credit issues were precipitous to CIG, but they were willing to give you a chance. If you don't want any issues- PAY ON TIME, just that simple. My experience with them has been outstanding. Even when CIG anticipated that I was going to be late (I wasn't nor ever have been), I was immediately offered other options to maintain a timely payment history. CSR's have all been pleasant and professional. AGAIN - Just pay on-time. If you can't pay on time, return the vehicle and go back to public transportation....

Literally, literally the worst place to get a car loan! Whatever you do resist going with them with all your might, they offer no grace period. They will call you every day and hound you like beggars no matter if you have a legitimate reason. Moreover, they are very, very rude...so rude in fact they are borderline threatening. In my case, I did receive an auto loan from them, I traded the car in on the 1st of the month and purchased a new one. Therefore, the auto dealership is to pay off the loan. Sure, it is my responsibility to pay the payment until the car is paid off. However, would it not make sense to realize I am not in possession of the vehicle and the dealer where it was traded is going to pay off the loan? CIG is very greedy...and are afraid of their own shadow...thinking they are going to lose a dime... Back to their rudeness... I am a very patient person with a law degree in CA, so it takes a lot to get me riled up...and I am here to tell you...if they continue with their silly ways...I will drag each one of those idiots into court....for weeks...then we shall see if their rudeness continues in a court setting.... again...resist going with CIG at all costs... you have been warned...

This institution approved me for a car loan telling me that they did not need to do a proof of employment then started calling my employer asking all sorts of questions. Not only that buy there is no free way to pay you car loan. Everything is done through money gram at $10 per transaction or western union at $8 per transaction. Every car loan I have had there has always been a way to set up a bill pay online to pay from a bank account. I am very displeased with my loan and provider. They will lie to you every step of the way. Oh and they lie about your credit score too. I know my credit score from experian is a 721 and I applied for this loan a week after I got my credit score. They told me my experian credit score was a 519. I needed a new vehicle because my truck started on fire so I did it anyways. If you pick CIG to finance you, you will regret it.

Everyone at c.i.g. even though I just paid off my loan I had with you for almost 3 years I'd just like to explain my experience. From day 1 you guys were amazing to me. Your customer service was always excellent. Because of our paydates changing we were always 5 to 12 days past due and sometimes we paid 2 payments at once to get ahead but no matter what ever happened in my life which waa a lot you guys treated me like I was family. In gonna miss chatting it up with all of you.

Considering they are willing to provide auto loans to high risk clients, they are awesome. I've spoken to their Customer Service team a few times over the past two years and was treated fairly and with respect each time. Yes, the rates are high but if you're getting a loan from them it may be because no one else will help you.

They get 2 stars because their customer service was extremely nice, but if I had a choice of who my loan was going through I would never have chosen this company. They only allow payments through Western Union for $7 a pop and if you want to setup auto pay you can't set the amount to anything other than your scheduled payments...

EDIT: The car you losers financed me has been sold and no longer in my name. So tell me again, why are you still reporting a 0$ as past due? Thats fraud. Once you pay off your vehicle, they will not report it to the credit agencies! Buyer beware. Not to mention, they answer the phones by people who call themselves "Mr.Soandso" like a freaking debt collector. 13k loan and I hope you all take that money and send your employees to ethics class, Losers.

Beatrice and Carmen are just awful. They have such bad attitudes why would they be involved in this line of work if they are going to be rude to everyone they talk to, and talk down to them. It is YOUR JOB to help me that’s what you’re paid to do. To service me. Remember that. Juana is kind though and she has great customer service so get more people like Juana.

I currently have to deal with CIG. And while there have been few helpful people to help me when I have trouble, they are for the most part. Uneducated, rude and unprofessional. The higher ups there are the most condescending people I think I have ever had to deal with and I'm in customer support myself. The charges to make a payment are ridiculous - they charge you to make a payment by credit card. You can use your credit card for free at every other establishment ever, except this one. They are the worst car finance company ever!

Ended up having to use this company to finance my husband's auto loan following some credit issues. If we find ourselves in the same situation again we will opt to walk, ride a bike or flat out die before we would ever do business with this company again. They appear to purposely make it difficult to make a payment, business hours/customer service is limited and they are uninformed and rude. We paid off a 4 year loan without so much as one 30 day late payment and had this experience. I would advise folks to avoid CIG at all costs. If you left the dealership w/ a car and this loan company - take it back immediately.
