Chase Bank Reviews

Bettii Love1It is incredibly inconvenient for someone to come to a bank only to have an account open, for somebody to tell them that they have to schedule an appointment online themselves, because this needs to be done with a banker. I would assume that banks would hire bankers so that people will not have to make multiple trips to a bank to get something as simple as opening a bank account done.

J T (JT)2Great service when open but doors don't unlock after hours for customers like at other Chase locations.

Olympica Anderson1Went to this bank for the first time to get money off my card. The teller told me that they don't do cash advances at this location because of the stimulus checks... wow really? My money had nothing to do with stimulus, he never explain more. I work next to this bank and I still will never return. I went to the one on five fork and I will continue with them, they were very helpful and told me they never heard of that when I explained my issue.

C.L. Holloway1This is the absolute worse branch of Chase ever. We made an appointment online. Once we came in and waited for 20 minutes we were told that the banker who scheduled the appointment had been out due to Covid for 3 days. We were then directed to Linda who allowed us to sit another 15 minutes while she sat at her desk only to tell me that she had other appointments and would have to deal with the customers on her schedule before us. Next we dealt with the branch manager Tonyau Muhammad who was utterly rude, unprofessional and dismissive. She literally sat us at a desk and told us to call the customer service desk which took over an hour. I have really never had an issue with Chase but this branch is utterly worthless. Needs to be closed. Poor service, poor management and totally unhelpful to this community. If I could give them negative starts I would.

Rogenna Gray1My daughter could not open a bank account because she did not come in before 5:15p. We got there at 5:27p on a Friday. However, there was no one waiting and no lines. So, in 30 minutes before closing they could not open a simple checking account. Furthermore, we were told she could not open an account on Saturday because they have too many people calling in sick. This does not happen in other areas and at other banks. They don't turn people away. An appointment needed to be scheduled for next week some time. Wow!! Just horrible!!!

Shana Ellison5I went on a Saturday afternoon to open a new account. I thought I might have a bad experience because there was only one personal banker on duty and he was helping someone else. He was kind of enough to check on me about 10 minutes after I sat down to let me know it would be a little longer. While I continued to wait, Linda Chapman came over to me to get me started on opening the account. She ended walking me thru the whole process and she was professional but very friendly. We even talked about how we personally bank and tips on how not to get overdrawn on our accounts. 2 great customer service encounters make me want to bank there in person as often as I can. Ask for Linda if you want to talk to a personal banker. She was great!

Detrick Anderson1ATM never works when I try to use it, at a bank this is unacceptable. Can’t put money in my account after hours. Can’t get out cash and I am not available during business hours so this is a major inconvenience. Guess I should get a checking account else were

MOBONIX MOBONIX1I went to this location to make a withdrawal. I was asked for my debit card and was handed a withdrawal slip to fill out. When the teller saw the size of my cash withdrawal she asked me for my ID, which I promptly provided. The teller then asked me to verify my last deposit amount and the large deposit prior to that. When I asked her why, she said "it was procedure." I have five accounts with Chase and have never been treated so badly. I asked for my ID back and went to a different Chase branch. The 2nd branch processed my withdrawal and didn't even ask for my ID (per usual) and never questioned why I had so much money. When I called back to the original branch to speak to the manager. I found out the manager was the teller I had dealt with, Tonyau. This branch is by far the worst. "Tonyau" needs to be replaced. Otherwise Chase has been consistent. I have banked with them for over a decade.

DHILEEPKUMAR SATHIAKUMAR1Me and my wife have visited this Chase branch today and we had a worst experience. Bank Manager Ms. Tonyau was little rude to us. And worst part is, she has taken my wife's personal identification documents including social and updating info in Kiosk system and parallel addressing other customers visiting branch. Others would have easy access to our info. Dont know whether she realize her action. She could have taken us to cabin for updating these personal details. Senior executives of chase whoever see this comment, plz advice her not to repeat this kind of action. Please skip this Chase branch if you have any work to do with Banker.
