I highly recommend staying away from this branch as well as JP Morgan Chase as a whole. I went into this branch and met with a banker about opening a credit card that had a 0% introductory interest rate on balance transfers. The banker recommended the freedom unlimited card, saying it will will have 0% interest on balance transfer and all purchases for 12 months. 2 months later I am getting interest on the balance transfer, which was the only reason I opened the card. So I call the customer service 1800 number and they tell me the interest is correct and the banker was wrong. They say there is nothing they can do and that I should go and talk with the banker. I schedule a meeting with the banker. Upon meeting with him he is perplexed when I tell I’m about the interest charges. He makes some calls to corporate and they inform him that they just changed the card to exclude balance transfers on the introductory 0% interest rate. He tells them that the information he pulled up on the card and the disclosure signed show N/A for interest rate on balance transfers during the introductory 12 months. They say there is nothing they can do. Ultimately neither corporate nor the branch manager made things right and I am still being charged interest. I have filed complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as well as the Federal Trade Commission.

Went in to try to open a savings account Saturday. Was refused saying they close in 10 minutes and wanted to schedule a time to open an account. It took 5 minutes to talk to me about it. If it would have taken longer, I could always come back. They said it would take 40 minutes. Shame on you Chase for not having a faster way to open an account. I have an account there and have had it for more than 14 years. I told them this but it didnt matter. I should have asked to complain to the manager but I was so upset by the refusal. I was already inside the facility before they closed.

Unfortunately, you have to at least rate one star...the service here isn't worthy of one star! I have always gone out of my way to avoid this bank. I've been forced about 10 times to stop here. Every time I've gone, there is one car in front of me (I would never stop if there was more than one) and EVERY TIME I go to the drive through, there has NEVER been a case when I have not waited less than 10-12 mins. Today, it was 20 minutes! I tried calling the bank when I left to speak to a manager and it went to voicemail saying they were "assisting other customers" and to "call back later". Who doesn't answer a business phone during business hours?? I could have gone to the chinese restaurant there in Canal, ordered and eaten before I got through the drive through line! Let that sink in! I CAN'T be the only one this happens to. Totally unacceptable! I don't know if it's a case of understaffed or what the issue is but they need to address it! I have always gone to the Chase in downtown Canal for any business. They were a well oiled machine...so efficient and so friendly. I was so sad when they ended up removing the tellers for the kiosks. I will drive out of my way to avoid this bank in the future...so done with them!

Chase has significant card issues such as card being declined even though money is in account. As a manager at a retail store, we have customers come in and the cards are declined. Recently I had my card declined at home Depot 2x but the money was taken out of my account. This is a significant problem that needs to be addressed. The transaction was voided..... To many issues with Chase cards!

Terrible Staffing. If you want to use a machine they have plenty of those. If you want to talk to a human be prepared to wait. The lobby no longer has tellers just 2 machines for you to "interact" with. The tellers are in the back. Or should I say teller..... the unfortunate teller in the back is trying to run the counter and 2 lanes outside by themselves. This has been an on going problem for 12-18 months. The Tellers are doing the best they can to keep up. I have spoken with management on 3 seperate occasions and get the standard "we will do better" brush off. I have been a Chase customer for 9 years. Perhaps not much longer. I will just head back to my Credit union and take the 10 minute extra drive so I can get in and out rather than sit outside or stand inside watching the teller run around like a chicken with their head cut off. Since this change the turn over for staff has been huge. Only one lady has been a fixture for any length of time. Funny how the reviews go from the 1 year mark the skip to the 6 year mark. Classic example of deleting what you don't like. This bank has been here quite awhile and only has 10 reviews....

DO NOT use this banks drive through ATMS. They will take your money and then give you an error message that says we can not deposit your funds into your account at this time without giving you your money back. And once you call Chase for assistance they will pacify you by giving you the money back but for a temporary time before taking the money back out again and then claiming that you are a liar and are attempting to fraud the bank. DO NOT USE THIS ATM

Lobby is understaffed and staff is rude. Another nail in the coffin for Chase. Time to finally look for another bank.
