James Mitchell1I recently had a horrible experience at this branch. I went in as a chase personal and business acount owner to have a document notarized. WHen I sat down the woman helping me made me feel as if I had some kind of suspicious document that she had to check into because it didn't seem right. I literally handed a printed document from legalzoom, very standard form. She consulted with her supervisor because she was not sure if they did which was fine but for over 15 minutes they carried on a side conversation about who was right or wrong while I sat there quiet not even being engaged with or consulted about anything. The supervisor told her to cross out a section because Chase would not accept it, this was not even for Chase, they never asked me if it was or spoke to me about until after this 15 minutes she finally, reluctantly agreed to notarize the doucment. She consulted the internet and made a phone call which confirmed it was ok. They made me feel as if I was doing something wrong, they did not treat me as a customer whatsoever, engaged in completely unprofessional, unhelpful side conversation while I was sitting waiting. To top this all off I got a call saying the Notary did not put the county and state information on the Notary so it was not acceptable, so now I have to get it notarized somewhere else correctly and holds up the process longer. This was an absolutely horrible customer experienec and I truly hope they become aware how terrible this experience was from a customer's perspective.

Jena Buzel1Terrible customer service! They have been open for 18 minutes and I’m now the second customer that has walked out. There was one teller working, the second teller was running late and didn’t get her computer running till 8:45 AM. They didn’t apologize or say we’ll be right with you. There was two women before me who had been waiting when I walked in as well shaking their heads. If I stayed I would have been there for at least another half hour. I would rather go to another chase bank in the area and give them my business and time. This place is a waste.

Justine Elise Flores1Awful!!! The lady teller ROYALLY SCREWED up my savings bonds deposit. I asked her multiple questions on how much each accrued and which ones were ready to deposit, out of about a dozen savings bonds. She was so flustered, shuffling through them, typing out things on her calculator and kept asking ME about her math. I should've seen the RED FLAGS then.... she handed me back a bunch of the bonds and deposited the rest. I asked for a printout and she gave me a small receipt, with not much info. I am not a professional banker, but I do know that it is the BANK TELLER’S JOB and she should know how to do it! Turned out, almost a month later, I see a $400+ deposit into my chase checking account. I called the 800 # to find out what it was and they told me that via HUMAN ERROR my savings bond deposit for ONE bond was off by almost $400!!! Because the lady at the bank manually entered the information WRONG. And the federal government was the one to catch the mistake in the numbers. WHAT THE ACTUAL F, CHASE BANK OF QUALITY STREET in TRUMBULL?!?!??!!! They've majorly lost my trust. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE and there is NO REASON this lady should have made such an extreme error other thank complete incompetence. The bank was not busy. I was the ONLY customer there, in fact. She kept asking ME what the math was and I should've seen that a sign that something was up. ALSO, I asked for the money to be deposited into my Savings account and on the form (which I later saw a scanned copy online,) the woman filled out "Checking Acct," which is why the error "REFUND" was deposited into that account almost a month later. Financially speaking, this was a huge burden, as I was in the middle of a major life transition, moving money around and trying to keep everything balanced. CHASE is supposed to be a TRUSTED institution. We're not talking a mistake off by a few cents here. It was a $400 mistake. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN!!!!!!????

Michael Otero1Tellers sit around drinking coffee ignoring phone calls; general manager completely uninvolved; account manager lacks general knowledge about business accounts. Please avoid this branch unless you have basic needs.
