  My husband and I have worked with Ken in the purchasing and refinancing of our home. He has been excellent with his communications with us and kept us informed every step of the way. He's very detailed and shared every expectation of the process with us. We used company app when we refinanced our home. The app made it super convenient to share our documents and information with Ken and made it a very speedy process. Along with that, we were able to see which phase of the process we were in and received notifications from the app every time we reached another milestone. I thank Ken for his amazing efforts in making each process so seamless for us. I highly recommend working with him!

At no point did we feel rushed to close on a home, which was very important to us as we spent nearly two years searching for our very own home.   IL Veteran's, go somewhere else! As you may know, IL Disabled Veteran's are exempt from IL Property Taxes. I made it known from day 1 that I did NOT want to pay property taxes into escrow since I was exempt and they assured me through the whole process that this wouldn't be a problem. THEY LIED! Then they said they would help take care of this with the new lender when my loan was sold. Another LIE! I repeatedly asked for a copy of their escrow policy in writing to verify this information, but they would never provide it to me. Now, I am being forced to give my lending company a $6,000+ interest free loan. I now know that there are lending companies out there that understand IL law and will not force disabled veteran's, exempt from property taxes, to pay them into escrow. I used Veteran's United for a separate refinance and they were AMAZING!

  Our occupation situation and the pandemic made for a trickier loan process but Barry and his team were very prompt and helpful in making sure we had all of the correct documents turned in at the right time as well as actively watching to make sure we could lock a great rate for our loan. We look forward to working with Barry again for future refinancing or if we happen to purchase another home one day! We will definitely be referring our friends and family looking to purchase a home.

  Tyler was very patient and detailed oriented. I was looking for a lender this is my fifth home purchase. Tyler is professional and provides answers on a timely manner. I enjoyed working with him and highly recommend others when finding lenders for home purchase. I found a condo and was able to close on 35 days from offer.
