  This is by far the worst Title Company, that I have ever worked with! They failed to collect the prorated taxes from the seller of my property that I purchased. Then the Cass County Title Company (owner) Jennifer Golden said that she was the deciding authority and that nothing would be done to collect the taxes from January till September from the previous owner. She said that if I wanted those prorated taxes, I would have to ask the seller myself for that money. That the title company insures taxes from 2019 not 2020 despite the purchase being made almost in Oct of 2020 not 2019! The Cass County appraisals office said that if Cass County Title Company did their job correctly, they would have known that the previous owner did not have an AG exemption for 2020 and that prorated taxes needed to be collected as with any real estate sale. They sure are quick at collecting their fees despite being very unproffesional at not knowing how to properly do their job... then pushing their incompetence errors onto the buyer!
