Sgt. David E “chowhound” Swiger USMC5I can't speak for the troubles others seem to have here BUT, what I can say is that I have had nothing but good experiences here. That's "experiences" in the plural. I have bought many good items here at a very good price. Now that isn't to say some things were not so good but following the store policies, they have always taken good care to see I was well satisfied, howbeit in a refund or compensated in my next purchase. Keeping in mind, these are well used items and not everyone is qualified and/or knowledgeable enough to check out all the items completely, but the management has always been helpful to see that I have not left unhappy with my purchases. I DO highly recommend patronizing the business.

I was treated with kindness and respect by the two workers that day, Brent & Lavona. I highly recommend this pawn shop to anyone who may be choosing who to give their business to.

Destiny Simmons1I went in to this pawnshop thinking it was cash land still but apparently they change their name completely. When I first walked in I wasn’t greeted with a smile more like a sidelook with an attitude. I came in to sell my oculus which was literally brand new but it gave me motion sickness so I wanted to get rid of it for the most possible. I paid over $300 for it less than a month ago and the lady told me she could only give me $45 for it. I just thought it was completely outrageous. I literally have been thinking about it since that day and I am so upset because I have no problem selling it for close to 300 I’m glad I didn’t sell it to Cash American pawn.

I came back no more rHan 10 minutes later to return them and they said the serial numbers didn’t match and wouldn’t return them. i bought another item that was also broken…. Terrible inventory and staff is not knowledgeable

Lora Reynolds1Pawned my computer there for 500. Went to pick up and they had lost my cord. This was a month ago. They keep blowing me off saying it’s coming. I had to pay an extra month because I picked up a day late. But now I have to wait a month to use my PC because their mistake. Definitely not a place I recommend

Alexandria Bauer1Their customer service is terrible. I went there to take out a loan. I called multiple times before I went in to make sure I had everything I would need. I get there and the manager, Dexter, starts out with a slight attitude and being rude, I ignored it. He claims that I don’t have everything so I run home and get everything and come back with my bf and our 1.5 year old son. We are there for maybe 3 minutes before the manager starts getting rude with my bf and then just hands me back all of my paperwork saying nothing. I stand there having no clue what is going on and the manager then rudely tells me that he is going to pass and no longer wants to work with me. I was in shock that they were refusing service to someone who literally did nothing but come into their place of business to take out a loan. I would not recommend going here especially not on a Saturday because that seems to be when Dexter is working and he is not a nice or helpful guy. I wouldn’t waste my time going here, go literally anywhere else and it has to be better than this place. They don’t even deserve the one star I had to give them.

don diego5The Grove City Cashland is a far superior place to do business, than the other Cashland(s) that I have been to. It is because of Walter and his staff. Walter and his staff, have always treated us with courtesy, respect, professionalism and kindness. They have always listened to us, to understand our needs. Then, they have always recommended a solution to help us. They have Great products there (electronics, tools, tv(s), jewelry, more) and they have financial services that many people use over and over. I recommend that you go there to check them out you will be saying the same things that I am saying here. Try it and see. They are superb !!!

Bo Welsh1WARNING: This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced, in my entire life. Richard was quick to greet me with a smile :) He took my device, turned it on and then mumbled something under his breath. His soft weak voice was inaudible and I assumed he was talking to himself while he was appraising my device. ( I am a veteran with bad hearing ) After I did not respond, his rage overwhelmed his emotions he looked up at me and ask "WHATS UP WITH ALL THE USERNAMES!?". I was confused by this because I did not understand what he was asking. I think everyone can understand why your device would have multiple usernames. ( example: Family members use the device lol ) However Richard informed me that when a device has multiple usernames, that he believes it is stolen.... and that he would not be able to take it. I was slightly embarrassed, but still maintained a more professional attitude than the employee standing before me. I asked " should I just go home and delete the usernames and bring it back? " He and the other employees laughed at eachother and said "there will be more ways that we will be able to tell that it is stolen..." This makes no sense at all, but I believe Richard may have possibly failed the police academy and now inserts his detective skills, harsh authority, and muscles on the customers as if they are in some sort of corrections facility. 9-5 I where a suit and tie, but I walked in with a pokemon t shirt on and sandals. He was extremely judgmental and when I go back wearing dress clothes, he will kiss my feet. And he will take my device. If you want to sell something at this location make sure you avoid the transgender woman with tattoos and glasses.

Warrior of Wandering1Legitimately rob people. Purchased 2 chrome books, one was the wrong one and bc I didn’t puchase “safety guarantee” they would not take back a computer that will not turn on. Less than an hour after I left the store.
