  I've had my mortgage for almost 9 years and as what seems to be the standard, it has been sold several times. I've always had good experiences. I will say the representatives are generally pleasant but the policies and handling of customer accounts is terrible. Therefore, Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. They set up barriers for customers to pay and make it challenging. I am so disappointed with this company. If you have a choice in mortgage lenders, run the other direction from this company!

  I am so happy and privileged that Collin Dawson of Carrington Mortgage was able to part of my dream of getting into my “Dream Home”. Collin and all the members of his team worked so efficiently in gathering all the necessary documents to make the process smooth. Their professionalism is second to none. Collin Dawson’s patience, professionalism, and expertise got me through the stress and anxiety that is associated with buying a home.   My experience was the best ever, Collins Dawson was the best loan officer I have ever known he was on top of his work getting me into the home of my dream.what impressed me was that he cared not only about his business but about my welfare as a customer. I really enjoyed working with him. I will recommend carrington mortgage company to everyone I know..Thx again Collin Dawson.

  Refinancing our current mortgage with Carrington was a great experience. I think this experience was mostly due to our loan officer Paul Keesee who was patient, kind, informative, and always available for questions along the way. He offered some of the best customer service we've ever had. The process was easy as all of the paperwork was taken care of online until closing and even then the company sent a mobile notary to meet us at a time and place of our choosing. The closing paperwork took around thirty minutes. I would recommend Carrington to others and I hope they do not transfer my loan to another mortgage lender.

  Very disorganized with neccessary step to complete mortgage application. Their communication was lacking with timeline of approval process and staging time frame for underwriting. Please use a different mortgage company, who answer questions promptly and does not ghost you during first time buying home. They are not knowledge with va loans.

  They took over my loan a few years ago (this has never gone well for me) but they certainly are a clean machine with very smart reps. I never had one snag, not one snarky person .... ever. I think they may be a young forward looking company who either pays their employees well or their CEO had brains.

  Carrington Mortgage is the best mortgage company I have ever dealt with. I recently re-financed my mortgage loan and to begin with, I wouldn't have even been aware of the savings if I had not received a phone call from Carrington. Everything was very streamlined and if I had any questions, anyone I spoke to was extremely helpful and patient. All the staff I dealt with displayed friendliness but yet very professional. I would recommend Carrington to anyone looking to secure a mortgage loan!

  The process with Carrington was performed to perfection from the moment it started. I really felt they wanted to help me get into a home and worked diligently to get the job done. Special thanks to Collin, Robert, and Alisha for assisting me through this special moment in my life. You guys were great and really moved on my application promptly despite the Covid-19 pandemic.   I dealt with Jared Robbins when I started the mortgage process for a VA loan. Once the ball got rolling I spoke and dealt with others, but Jared was my main POC for the duration of the process. Jared was upfront with everything that needed to be accomplished in order to get an approval on a mortgage. I have always been a bit of a skeptic and went in to the process with a bit of skepticism, but everything that Jared explained actually panned out. Yes - the mortgage process can be a bit overwhelming at times, but anytime I hit a hiccup, a quick text message or email to Jared, and things got back on track again. Jared was always very quick to respond to my communication with him whether it was by phone, text or email. It was refreshing having someone like Jared in my corner during the entire process. Jared always displayed professionalism and was always courteous. Even when an unexpected “issue” arose, Jared had the answers that were needed to get everything back on track again. I would highly recommend Carrington AND Jared. The biggest “plus” for me was that Jared did not promise anything that could not be delivered. He didn’t “blow smoke” and sugar coat everything like so many in the industry seem to do. We closed a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. Simply put - Jared delivered.

  I was never late on a payment in 25 years of credit history. Around 10 years with Carrington and had a bank account problem when switching accounts around. Carrington payment was late due to trying to pull from the wrong account. Messed up my credit. They say they don't offer waivers or any help for my now messed up credit score. They have made more than $50,000 interest from my current loan with them. I had a perfect record for all these years. I am done with them, some other company can take my interest money for the remainder. They don't allow phone calls to the department that just might help. Lesson: They are great until you happen to mess up, then they are vicious and will not forgive. All good reviews posted have not had the chance to see their other side. Hopefully they never will, it sucks.
