      Today I received a phone call, AT MY JOB, from Carrington Mortgage. My front office manager told me that Carrington Mortgage called looking for me. When your mortgage company calls your work you drop everything and call them back. Sometimes escrow gets low, could be a payment issue, property taxes didn't go through. No, they called my business inquiring if I wanted to consolidate my personal debts through a home equity line of credit. How absolutely unprofessional can you be? You do not call someone's place of business to try to upsell a current mortgage holder. I felt like someone was trying to sell me an extended warranty on my car! Whomever made the decision to begin cold calling client's place of business should seriously re-evaluate their strategies.

      The Carrington team provided excellent service to my organization. Unfortunately, the borrower withdrew the application after the team and I reduced the DTI from 125% to 42.7%. There are times when one can lead a horse to water, but one can't make them drink. Team Carrington was stellar throughout the entire process. Well Deserved Excellence in my book.

      As a new loan officer, Tony and Jeff went above and beyond to help me get multiple loans closed for my borrowers. They were patient even after asked 20 questions or brought them complicated scenarios that most LO's wouldn't bother with. Highly recommend this crew, they are fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thanks for everything team!

      The worst mortgage company you could deal with. 2 years ago my old mortgage company sold my mortgage loan to Carrington. 3 months later my escrow was short. Instead of reviewing their mistake they started sending letters. Come to find out they double paid my school taxes. I was advised to contact my school official because, I would end up with a new monthly payment because of the shortage. When i spoke to the accountant at the tax office i was told the company made the same error with a number of accounts.. last month 5/2021 another accordance, I normally send in my payments at the end of the month, but in april they received 2 payments. They applied my May payment to the principal and started calling me regarding a late payment. Apparently its to hard to move the money over to the correct area, they have done nothing. I keep being told it will get done. A month later, a late fee, 4 delinquent phone calls, 3 letters to me and no help. I have asked to speak to a supervisor 3 times, they are always in a meeting and they NEVER respond. I am annoyed and frustrated of their lack of responsibility, response and customer service. If you have a choice don't use this mortgage lender!

      Elsa Sanchez and the Carrington Mortgage Team consistently strive to close loans even in the most difficult situation. Elsa is always available to assist and answer questions. What some other loan officers don't understand is that Carrington Mortgage does their due diligence to ensure that the loan is a solid one. While they "might condition you to death" at the end of the day one must remember they are doing their job to ensure their are no surprises right before closing.

      Dennis Watson was excellent about getting the loan to closing. Had a few hiccups but got thru them in a timely manner. Client was very happy with the rate he got on his loan.

      Heads up with this lender: Own multiple properties, never made a late payment, dealt with multiple lenders- This is the first lender we’ve experienced that harasses you if you pay your mortgage within the 15 day grace period. When we scheduled a payment on the 4th, was called and informed by them that they will automatically call you every month “on a recorded line in an attempt to collect debt” if it’s not received on or before the 1st. This is annoying enough to let people know.

      BOA transferred my mortgage to this company toward the end of 2018. At the same time I was in the middle of a mortgage modification due to the loss of job related to severe illness and significant decrease in income. Carrington Mortgage not only received the mortgage transfer but jumped right in to the modification as well as if they were working it from the beginning. I knew the modification was my best choice but was still hesitant to make any changes to a mortgage I've had for years. I was pleased with the team who answered all my questions in a patient and understanding manner; even when I asked them twice, or reassured me when papers came that were aside from the modification that looked scary. I was able to continue treatments and work on my health; CMS kept in contact with me and never left me in the dark. In the end, my mod became complete as of a few days ago and I received my new invoice. I recently sent in my new payment with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and a PRAISE the LORD blessing my pups and I will be able to remain in our home! I am extremely pleased to have them as my mortgage company.

      Gloria from the Home Retention Department listened to all of my problems and tribulations, plus she was so concerned for my family and I, which is why she's got Carrington a 5 star review. We spoke on the phone for over an hour, and my goodness how lucky was I to have had the opportunity to speak with such a wonderful representative, again her name is Gloria. I don't know her last name but I tell you one thing she's a great worker. She is a great asset to Carrington.

      Michael Anthony Dixon Jr CARRINGTON MORTGAGE SERVICES Carrington Mortgage Services 1600 South Douglass Road Anahiem, California 92806 Dear To Whom It May Concern, I am sending this letter to inform you that I have been in a hotel with my family of 6 for two month. (Because my lease was up)!and on May19 2020 I was set up for closing with a closing attorney in Jackson,Ga which I to send them my 3.5 percent on May 18 2020. But on closing date the attorney office never received the final paperwork. So my load offcer stated that we was still in underwriting. 2 weeks pass then on June 3,2020 i received a letter from Carrington mortgage services stating that my loan was approve and i also received my three day disclosure and I was supposed be closing in June 8,2020. One June 11,2020. I received a call from my loan officer stated that a T.L in underwriting won't let us closing because of a collection back in 2014 which I paid to comply with underwriting. Then on June 18th T.L in underwriting cleared that debt issue now underwrite is hold on closing because tax issue which we took care of the tax issue. Them a weeks went by on July 15, I received a call from my loan officer stated that now there is. Issue with my down payment to prevent us from closing. T.L stated the cash of $4700 cant be a source of down pay with out a paper trail. Which I wrote a letter of explanation on where and when and why with documents for a paper trail for $4700. So now my family are just living in this hotel until we get and answer from T.L the senior underwrite who handle my file... This problem specifically concerns the below premises: Purchase Home 188 Buttrill Rd Jackson, Georgia 30233 Please do whatever is necessary to address this problem as soon as possible.
