The ATMs at the 125rh Street needed an "Out of Service"sign. I was trying withdraw money from of the ATMs there was a long delay."Verifying Identity" l waited and waited. Finally it says "Take Cash" the slot did not opened.AGAIN l WAITED!! Still did not open. I then utilized a different machine after 2 minutes or longer it open and another customer saw it open told me the money was there. By that time the money from other machine disbursed the money that l wanted. Please fix this immediately!!! Had l walked out someone have taken my money!!

This is the most convenient branch for me as I live 15mins from this branch the others are in lower Manhattan. You’d think they’d move swiftly due to health reasons & inclement weather. Nope! They move on their own time. The managers don’t assist whatsoever. They close down windows to the point only 1-2 tellers are assisting customers. While the rest pretend to do their job or they simply go on break & don’t care. Year 2022 I won’t be doing anymore direct depositing neither should you guys. Get your checks & go to Payomatic (right across the street from this branch) or Moneygram.

One star is more than enough. This branch is absolutely terrible. I went to open an account and was told to go next day after making an appointment. I went to open the account and was not greated by a respresentative to speak privately, but had to go to the public kiosks to open my account. There were tons of people going in and out of the branch and EVERYONE can hear me having my conversation with the representative about opening my account. They could all hear my personal inforamtion since they were right next to me depositing, etc. After 1 1/2 hrs of standing and talking to the representative at some point I had to sit on the window sill because of how tired I was. In the end, I had my account written on a piece of paper! I had to sign a few documents then hand them under the thick glass. WHAT ARE WE! Sure covid is around but this is absolutely no way to treat people and especially when conducting business. I opened my business and the ENTIRE bank heard it. The representative was also new and kept consulting her manager on how to do it. All of this happening with the manager there. People don't have time to waste and waiting for people to learn. Teach them, then put them into the field. Now, my accout won't even work because who knows how they messed it up at the branch. ABSOLUTE WORST branch in all of America. I should have went to Chase.

I found it very disrespectful being called out rude when he actually did a mistake.

Nina was absolutely amazing setting up my Spark Business Checking Account. There were technical difficulties, but she worked through it instead of having me come back a second time. 5/5 My recommended branch!

      Response from the owner

SPARK isn't just a product line here - Nina lights up our team on the daily :) ^AJS

All I can say is STAY AWAY from Capitol One. Seriously, stay away from this bank. I am a new small business owner and I am woefully regretting my decision to open my business account with Capitol One. Long story short... The bank mistakenly withdrew $20,000 from my business account. They admitted it was their error and they refuse to return the money. I repeatedly have called and spoken to numerous individuals and I am getting nowhere. No one knows anything however they acknowledge that the money should not have been taken. I will not name names although I am tempted to do so but I will say it was the branch manager that was responsible for the error and for some reason refuses to take my call. $20,000 may not seem like a lot for Capitol One but for a small business owner it's the difference between being able to stay open or close my shop.

This is the best example of modern day ghetto banking service. Unkept intern tellers, bankers with an attitude, cannot be bothered bankers make you wait for hours. All In a hurry to get home like Alexandria the banker left to close .who had time to tell me why it was time to leave . As were the rest of bankers bosting of where they had to go. A client who was a victim of bank fraud was just not important. Customer service does not exist. I prefer and would recomend to anyone that has to use Capitalone to go downtown for service . This is the tale of two cities avoid the branch at 125 st at all cost. If you can not move to another banking company.

      Response from the owner

We hear you Mauricio, and your feedback experience will be forwarded to our branch leaders. This is never how we want you to feel when you visit us and it will be addressed.

Horrible customer service! I sat around the 125th street and 8th avenue branch for over a hour before someone even asked me if needed any help.. and even then they took another 45 min to come back after asking (I think she was eating or on the phone with a friend).. could have been longer but I only waited 45 min before I decided to no longer wait. Just for a replacement debit card. Do yourself a favor and go a few blocks up to 145th and St Nicholas Avenue .. They're very attentive and engaging even while you wait just to make sure you won't be waiting for no reason.

      Response from the owner

We aim to give all of our customer's one on one service within a timely manner and if we're not hitting that mark then you can bet that we're sliding this review in front of our leadership team. Thanks for taking the time to share this concern with us.
