  I did go there they were helpful. The pawn sop was clean. For someone that has never really been to a pawn shop they did go out of their way to help their customer. The front entrance and parking lot were very clean and maybe in the future I may pay Bob’s Trading Post a visit. Thank you!

  The staff doesn’t care, the items are over price and you won’t get much for anything. Try quick cash they are the best in town. Also that women who works there is horrible

  Great staff very friendly, have decent prices if you are in there to purchase items. When it comes to selling or pawning items their prices are fair and are in line with other pawn shops in the area. Actually now that I think about it they might offer you a tad higher than other places. I pawned something a week ago and originally was offered 250$ when I said lemme think about it, he then upped it to 300$ if I did the pawn that day, which the 300 was more than I was offered anywhere else!! Hope this helps for anyone thinking about buying or selling an item.

  This was easily the worst gun buying experience I have ever had. I was looking at a Marlin .22 bolt action rifle. Wouldn’t let me cycle the action on a used firearm. Wouldn’t take the zip tie off the gun until it left the store. I mean, I’ve been to pawn shops in rough neighborhoods before and they aren’t even this cautious. Showed interest in buying the gun and asked if they could do better on price, owner said no way in hell, he could easily get that price for the gun. Then they wanted to charge 5% to run a debit card. I went to atm and got cash, came back and paid for gun in full. Was told previously that the shop offered a 30 day money back guarantee on firearms but when I returned I was informed that they do not offer that on consignment firearms “because they aren’t our guns” even though they are selling them in their store. When I asked about that, the older gentlemen got mad and told me that’s how it is, take it or leave it. I ended up buying the gun, but it took everything I had not to just walk away and leave the gun there. This will be the last time I ever buy from them. It’s a full 24 hours later and I’m still mad about the ordeal.

  I love this store!! I am always finding the best deals, and the customer service is great. All the employees are always willing to help me find what I am looking for, and if they can’t help me they send me to someone who can. My husband orders firearms and has them shipped there- he has never had issues. Best pawn shop in town!!

  Very nice, polite, & straightforward service. Went here to pick up my firearm (go ahead & list them as your FFL). Unfortunately I didn't give myself time to browse their items, this review is for their outstanding customer service.

  I have lived in Havelock, NC all my life, and I have always gone to Bob's Trading Post for my business, whether that be buying or selling. Their friendly, family atmosphere is always a plus, especially if Mr. Bob is out in the front. They take the time to steer you in the right directions if they are not able to assist you with something, and that is awesome. Your business is appreciated and loved by many in the community!!! Thank you! Was great to see Mr. Bob and his daughter, Jessie, this morning! Thank you for all the help!

  Such a positive experience! I frequently visit this store and am always greeted with friendly faces and great customer service! The prices are fair and they are always willing to negotiate to sell/buy. Great experience and positive, clean environment.

  Extremely poor customer service, the lady looked at some of the stuff I was trying to sell, told me she didnt want it but she did want a couple things and started to take them and put them somewhere else without making a deal, after she got what she wanted she imediately started playing on her phone and almost forgot I was there, after I told her I would like to sell it all or none of it she just said ok and went back on her phone. The prices are priced for brand new items and extremely overpriced. They openly stated to another customer they will only give you 1/3 of the value something is worth if you are lucky. While I was there another kid bought a very old 32inch TV for over $100, I just dont know how they can screw people over like that. I will NOT be going there ever again.
