Beverly Bank & Trust Reviews

John Collins1I'm an attorney and I was presenting a check for $1250 the teller 1st told me we can't cash that check because it's over a $1000 but the most important issue is that i asked to verify funds before i deposit into my account. The teller proceeded to tell me that they couldn't verify the funds because she could not tell if I was a common criminal or I had stolen or found the check and forged the name of the account owner. I'm beyond being offended, she next told me that they don't make it a business practice to verify any checks and if does not matter how many Id's or proofs of identification are provided. I was highly offended and I will never patronize Beverly bank again thank you.

Barry Hyde1Called to verify funds on a check written to me I have ALL information NO help what so every, even had my bank call No Response! All i want to know is there funds in this account to cover check! Yes i understand that the funds could be gone the next day but a least i know this was not a hot check the day i received it. I took a check from a Bank in Texas and had NO PROBLEMS to verify that funds were available to cover this check. Thanks for nothing!!! I will tell your client sorry no deal!!!!

Tenisha Taylor1ZERO STARS! Where do I even begin? 1. Racist tellers. It doesn't matter if you have money or have been a client for years, if you are a certain complexion then you have to prove your identity 10 different ways. 2. The bank has no money. You heard me. The tellers like to play mind games with you. On top of not wanting you to access your actual money, tellers gaslight you and tell you they do not have any 100 dollar bills, 50 dollar bills, etc. 3. Ageist tellers: my teenage son works 2 jobs and was so excited to finally have his own account only for Beverly Bank tellers to first ask him to prove his identity repeatedly. Then the ageist racist teller would not complete my son's transaction until he first told her where exactly he got the money from, although he gets direct deposit so she should have been able to see that on the screen even though it's none of her business. Very racist! That was extremely inappropriate! The teller did not question any of the other customers---it was only my son. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!!!!!!! Especially if you are a certain complexion. July 2018: I am sitting in Beverly Bank at 103rd & Western waiting to see a personal banker to close my accounts. I have been sitting here with a very large group of elderly customers FOR TWO HOURS!!! People are getting angry and walking out. This is ridiculous. What is going on at this bank? Are they about to close? Are they going through a merger? What is going on here?????? OMG!
