  If you are thinking about getting a home equity loan with Bethpage Federal Credit Union think twice. We had bad experience from the start. We had an appraisal scheduled for a set date and the appraise was several hours late with out contacting us to let us know she would be late. After we received the appraisal we reviewed it and noticed she was not comparing our house to comparable homes in the neighborhood. She only raised our house value $3450.00 for a kitchen that cost us $100,000.00. We had a closing scheduled for a certain date and time and we got to the bank and it was closed and no one was considerate enough to give us a call that the bank was closed.They said the bank manager was going to call us to apologize but no one ever called.To summarize my experience with the bank was very unprofessional and not knowledgeable.

  Thanks Lori for getting my and my son in and out so quickly for our car loan. My son loved the Olaf you gave him to color while doing paperwork. My daughter wanted me to rip the check so she can go back with me to color too!

  My wife and I recently had the opportunity to open a HELOC. The process was fabulous. I couldn't say enough positive things about your staff. Prior to the HELOC. we refinance our existing home loan with a major bank that it was held with. It was a complete disaster. If anyone wants a loan please PLEASE use BFCU. THANK YOU

  TOOK OVER A MONTH TO OPEN A BUSINESS CHECKING ACCOUNT, OPENED A MERCHANT ACCOUNT THAT WITHDREW .10 AND .57 AND CHARGED $60 DID NOT WANT TO REVERSE THE CHARGE DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS A NEW ACCOUNT. THEN HAD THE NERVE TO THREATEN ME THAT THEY WERE GOING TO CONTACT THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT TO HAVE MY ACCOUNT CLOSED. THE SUPERVISOR KIM WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! SHE KEPT INTERRUPTING ME WHILE I WAS SPEAKING.

  BFCU is the best place to bank , Period !!!! Staff , rates , knowledge , service , they have it all , under 1 roof !!! Been with them 25+ years !!!!!

  I was racially profiled today due to the fact i deposited a check which cleared and had to nerve to tell me they had to make sure the check was not fake
