  Joe and Brenda are truly the best. They are so responsive, they email right back to answer questions, they walk you through every step in the process. They can give you a timeline if you ask for it. They are prepared for any changes that come up as you close your loan. Overall it was stressful because buying a house is stressful but having such an awesome team who are organized and prompt make the process so much easier. I worked with a couple other lenders previously and no one was as patient, friendly, and kind as these folks. They truly are wonderful and if you're shopping lenders put them at the top of your list.

  This was my first home purchase and it was occurring in the midst of a devastating personal loss and a great deal of logistical confusion. Joe and Brenda were the perfect professionals to help guide me through this time and get me to the finish line. They treated me with patience and respect despite the fact that I regularly bombarded them with questions. There is no doubt that if I ever purchase another property I will return to Bay Capital Mortgage.

  Process was quick and easy. Mike Auldridge was very knowledgeable of the VA product and knew the correct questions during the application and documentation submission process. Loan processor vBrenda Fedorko was very courteous and managed our expectations well. Maria Mirani who was the assistant was very task oriented and explained closing details in a very understandable manner. I was very pleased with Bay Capital and would recommend them to anyone.

  She made herself very available. We're 1st time home buyers and she helped us get into a wonderful home. We worked together over the holiday vacations, and even with some understandable delays because of holidays, we got every thing completed and on track right on time, with no delays. She was very attentive to my questions, Even when we started to get overwhelmed with the whirlwind that is home buying, and asked and re asked the same questions just to make sure we were knew what we were getting into. She helped us through every thing and made each step of the process very easy and understandable

  Out of all the mortgage companies I have used this company is not the company I would chose to use again. I was recommended to try a specific person in this company at the Westminster locating (I will leave out their name) for my loans. For the past 3 months I have been in the process of doing 2 Refinances on 2 investment properties at pretty much the same time. The first loan took 97 days to close, which is extremely long. But the biggest problem is the other refi which took 52 days and we got all the way to the end, we were given the ok to close from the underwriting department and also was given a settlement date, and then 4 days before settlement this lender called me a said they cannot close for me?? Apparently they had complications and do not have a buyer to sell my loan too. So this company wasted 52 days of my time which during that time the market changed by over 1% in mortgage rate. And when I asked is there any way to help me out since this was not my fought and they agreed that it was not my problem they still did nothing to help me other than say sorry nothing we can do. I even asked to talk to someone higher up in the company and was sent to the president direct phone line where I left a detailed message and I still have not received a return call. So I would recommend another mortgage lender that will not take 97 days to close a refinance, and the other loan they couldn’t even complete. Thank you

  Catherine Carrico of Bay Capital Mortgage Corporation fits every positive attribute on the list even though I could only choose three! She is extremely astute on the processes, latest available products, laws, rules, and regulations in the mortgage lending field, which are constantly changing. I first obtained her services in 2000, and since then I have sought her services with two home purchases and four refinances wherein she has saved me a ton of money. She is very personable, detail oriented, focused, and knows how to explain the complex matters to her customers in laymen's terms. She knows the lending process and can assess her customers' current credit and financial situation like no other, and determine the best product to fit their needs. No one comes close to the quality of product she has offered and provided, or the level professionalism she has demonstrated. I highly recommend her for all of your mortgage lending and refinancing needs. She is fantastic!

  They led my family on a wild goose chase for almost a year. They were never satisfied always thinking of something to delay closing. We were pre approved from day one. Now with the only thing left to do is close, they kicked us to the curb. Forget that I have a 16 month old and another due in May with no house to keep them in. Forget that I did everything asked of including be pre approved. I have thousands invested in the entire process. They don't care about you, your family or your dreams. I would never recommend them to anyone!

  Self employed people have it hard when it comes to getting a loan of any kind. I wanted to refinance and Joe and Brenda really helped me get that done. Joe really gave me sound advice and helped me to make a good financial decision.
