Bank of New Hampshire Reviews

FirstyMcFirstFirst LastyMcLastLast1$35 dollar overdraft fees for every little issue. Horrible service. ATM fees for non BNH ATMs, other places offer more ATM locations without fees. UPDATE: They replied and specified that there are options that allow for overdraft protection, but my guess is that's for a fee. Either way seems I can't set it up online and their closest branch is in Manchester, since two others closed recently. I'm not going to drive all the way in there, until I go close my account. UPDATE: I was charged $175 for a "Returned Item Charge". They claim this was not an overdraft fee because they named it something else. They will not reverse it, apparently because the account is negative.
Response from the ownerGood morning. Thank you for reaching out to us. With BNH’s Courtesy Overdraft, the Bank covers your overdrafts up to a predetermined amount and with Transfer Overdraft Protection, money is automatically transferred from another BNH account the same-day to cover overdrafts, free of charge. With regards to ATMs fees, we have a solution for that as well! BNH is part of the Allpoint ATM network which gives you access to over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. You can find your nearest Allpoint ATM by visiting the Locations and ATMs page on our website or you can download the Allpoint app for your mobile device. Our team would be more than happy to provide you with more information regarding any of the overdraft options available to you, as well as guide you through finding an Allpoint ATM near you. Please feel free to visit your local BNH office, chat with us online at BankNH.com, or give us a call at 1.800.832.0912 for further assistance.
