THE MOST TERRIBLE SERVICE. I don't write many reviews, but this bank is especially hard to deal with when, establishing an account, setup for online banking, and phone customer service. SO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

Love banking here. The basic account they offer you here can’t get overdrafted, which means you won’t be getting all those nasty fees other banks (and credit unions) snap on.

Because I cannot give less stars. Bank of Hawaii is horrible. Do not bank with them. They cannot put in your own phone number right. (They entered mine in wrong not once, but twice). You will never be able to access online banking. Ridiculous! Worse bank I have ever banked with.

They should not even get a star. The Kamuela branch is awful! I PHYSICALLY handed them my pay check and they lost it. The manager was not apologetic at all and they had no clue where my check went. Super unprofessional and I will never bank with them ever AGAIN!

Standard bank. Decent amount of fees compared to some larger, mainland banks, but it's a fine option on Big Island.
