  My husband and I had a loan closing with Lucas at Bank of England. He was very professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of the loan process. He made sure we stayed informed every step of the way through the process. At closing all the paperwork was in order and had no problems whatsoever during the closing.   Lucas Rodenbaugh is a good guy, cares about his customers, but his communication isn't great. We almost couldn't close because of that as well as lousy underwriters that can't read a tax return. After failing to hit the first closing date, the seller demanded a hefty fee to close or they would default us. Thankfully, (after asking 4 times) BOE reimbursed the fee to us. Did we get the house? Yes, barely. Did we go through any stress? Yes, definitely.

  Lucas has done an excellent job following up with referrals. It seemed he was always available and is very knowledgeable on the loan products. His turn around times are impressive and with pricing the way it is he can price almost anyone out of the market. I would recommend him to any friends or family looking to purchase a home.

  The initial conversation, the pre approval and process to underwriter was great. Phone conversation and text saying everything is good, nothing to worry about and no money needed to bring to the table since using VA loan. Within minutes of underwriting reviewing this perfect packet it was identified that the debt to income ratio did not support the request. So now by text, I now need $18k of reserves to move forward. The coward local mortgage rep wouldn’t even call me even after I left a voicemail. She continued to text. Not professional

  I hand an amazing experience with BOE. I was working with another lender that was taking a long time to close. After Lucas got the file we were closed within a couple of weeks. He was very responsive and exceeded expectations. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase a home.

  I was referred to this company through a family friend and had high expectations! I spoke to Kevin and he seemed very eager and passionate about helping my family get our credit in shape for a home loan. I was very excited after our first call and was told we would hear from in about a week. A week past so I called him just to follow up. He was brief and said he was waiting on a few things to come back and he would call me by the following week. That past never heard anything nor have I since its been over two weeks but I did receive a denial of a loan even tho we did not submit one. I wouldn't recommend for the simple customer service aspect of this, not following up with his potential clients. A simple hey this isn't going to work. I was very irritated as you all know finding a lender and going through the process is a headache in itself. Not getting call back and having to hound a lender is just not worth it. Good luck to you all!

  I wouldn’t recommend anyone other than Lucas! I’ve tried for years buying a house and Lucas showed me it was possible. He answered all our questions in a way we could understand as never having knowledge in buying a house before. Thank you Lucas for your time and patients in making as things possible for my family. You come highly recommended and I would want to use anyone else!

  I wouldn’t even give them a star if I didn’t have to to share my review I was told everything’s great you don’t need no money at closing you’re gonna get this you’re going to get that your interest-rate’s going to be here then none of it happened and I was told we don’t need to pay for the appraisal until unless you back out at closing and they charge my credit card and now I can’t get my money back don’t do business with these people
