  This was a pleasant experience considering they worked with me on a home loan. The staff was extremely versed in what needed to be accomplished by them and myself to make this a relatively easy process to obtain financing.   Angel Oak Home Loans of Charleston are hands down the best people to work with when getting a home loan. Laura Lawhon was extremely knowledgeable and proficient and made a stressful time much easier. She was constantly in contact with me and I highly recommend them.

  I cannot say enough about Laura Lawhon and Brandy Teague at Angel Oak Home Loans! They have made the home buying process so easy for us. There was zero stress from start to finish working with the two of them. They are always on track with numerous updates, respond quick, and we never had a single issue or delay. Being a first-time home-buyer, I was expecting this to be more difficult. However, I could not have had a better experience. I highly recommend working with them the next time you purchase or refinance! They are both extremely easy to work with, knowledgeable, and helpful with all of the unknowns.   I’m using my business email, but I (Erin Tyler) had a great experience with Christian and Angel Oak Home Loans! Christian was very easy to work with. He was quick to act, quick to respond, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. My rate is so low and I couldn’t be happier. I’m saving money and shaving years off my mortgage! I know I couldn’t have refinanced with a larger company. Christian was very personable and understood the limitations I had being self employed during this difficult time. I’m so glad my friend referred me to him and Angel Oak Home Loans.

  Working with Laura Lawhon, Brandy Teague and the rest of the team at Angel Oaks Home Loans was a breeze. As a first time home buyer, I was unaware of the lending process and the amount of effort it took from the initial inquiry to the closing table. Laura and Brandy both are very thorough and explain the process in easy to understand lingo. They also worked well with my realtor. I had a dream team on my side. Brandy is the mortgage fairy god mom, as she was with me each step of the way after putting in my offer. Brandy kept me updated and constantly checked in by phone, email and text; I was notified of every step, hiccup and good thing that was happening with my loan. Laura is definitely the mortgage lender you want on your side. She's very upfront and works in the best interest of her client. Long before I was able to put in an offer, Laura advised me of the necessary steps to get pre-qualified and the best interest rate. She was even kind enough to join me at the closing table with a gift. Thanks. Im truly appreciative of Angel Oaks Home Loans, Laura and Brandy. My mortgage process wasn't horrific and I have no horror stories to tell, instead I can only sing praises that my lending process was easy and seamless. Highly recommended!
