Lesa Hillman1Stay Away! Im not one to post negative reviews but seem to have no other choice because the credit union will not fix its error. I used Amoco for an Auto Loan. I paid off the vehicle 16 months ago and still haven't received my title work. After many attempts to retrieve the title I finally discovered my title was accidentally sent to the wrong person/address. This was acknowledged by a rep at Amoco, and was a blatant mistake on the credit union's part. Now I've been told that I need to go file for a lost title through the DMV. I paid titling,and interest fees to Amoco so they could handle it. This is completely wrong and unprofessional. I'm still waiting for my title, please resolve my issue that was caused by the credit unions neglegance and I can remove this negative review.

Hamid Kantara5A HUGE SHOUT OUT to AMOCO Federal Credit Union both League City and Friendswood branches. After being a customer of Moody National Bank for over 5 years, i closed my account and switched to AMOCO in League City because Moody was indifferent to my needs and declined to protect me against fraudulent charges. The teller at AMOCO accidentally printed my new debit card against my son's account- luckily i caught it after i used it a couple of times. What came next, blew my mind. I messaged AMOCO on their app that night. The next day, I got a call from Maria Tenorio, the assistant branch manager in League City. They addressed it. I explained that I worked in Katy and would not be able to get my new card until Monday which happened to be a holiday. She offered to overnight it and I was ok with that. Early that same evening, I got a call from them again letting me know that Tony Reeves their Friendswood branch manager hand delivered the debit card to my house. WAIT, WHAT ?? Are you kidding me, a banker making house calls?? 5 years with Moody bank, and they lost me over $49. Yet AMOCO's branch manager from an entirely different branch and different town who did not know me at all, jumped in his car and drove to my house to make sure I have the card in my hand that night. There is a big difference between being transactional and being relational. AMOCO is obviously relational.

David Barry1This place is a horrible bank for first time car buyers or anyone who needs a loan. I've never had a bank charge a 10 dollar convenient fee when I've been on hold for 15 minutes. Also never had a bank so unwilling to take my money to pay a car off . I wish there was a lower rating than 1. Will never get a loan from here again

Rafael Balderas1Worst bank ever. Don’t ever make cash deposits through the ATM. I have to wait 3 days in order to have my funds available. Unbelievable.

We reached out to the appropriate branch, and was able to confirm that the deposit has been processed. Regularly, our ATM deposits are processed around 9:00 a.m. and are usually available between 11:00 a.m. to noon, Monday through Saturday. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Trevor Pickett4I’ve had an account with amoco for 10 years and it’s a great credit union. Stacy’s customer service deserves a 5 star, but unfortunately she is the only one that has been helpful over the phone with a loan issue. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but with how hard it is to get anything taken care of over the phone or a call back, I probably would have if it wasn’t for Stacy helping me out. Thank you.

Latrishia Boyte3Not the best at getting back in touch if you have a question. Constantly changes online where paying a note is ridiculous until your late. Called 3 weeks ago about a Refi, called back and never got a return call.

Anchor of Hope3Waited 25 minutes in the drive thru at the league city parkway (96) location. The drive thru wait time is ridiculous at most locations. Maybe consider hiring more drive thru tellers. Drive thru should be convenient.
