  I’m almost 67 years old and without a doubt Ameris in St Marys, Georgia has been the best banking experience in my life. They make my life easy when it comes to banking. Very friendly!!!!!!

  Found myself in a situation where multiple things fell through for me on a Friday. Banked with VyStar in the past, and when I was relying on a $700 check to clear for money to eat that long weekend (Labor Day that Monday), so VyStar cleared $200 of the check to help me out. Same situation, neither account in the negative (VyStar, or Ameris this time around), and Ameris refuses to clear any amount of it to help feed my child and me through the weekend. MORAL OF THE STORY: If you ever find yourself in a tight spot, better hope you’re banking with a more personable bank than this one. Guess I have to go ask someone else to borrow money now. Thanks Ameris

  $10 to take your own money out of your account every time Charges you fees to check your own ballence at thire own atm with thire own card. Won't every fully cash checks i bring to them Would recommend Wells Fargo or Navy federal up the street
