  I’ve been with ASCU for right at 20 years in Sierra Vista. I moved to Benson recently and was so pleased that there’s a ASCU in Benson. I’m getting used to the clerks. They’re nice, but not as helpful as the Sierra Vista bank people are. I had a issue with a withdrawal and went to benson branch to stop it. The woman who helped me handed the paperwork to me and said fill this out. I told her I was not familiar with it and needed help.She walked away with no comment. Finally she came back and said are you done? I said please look it over because I told you I wasn’t familiar with it. She grabbed it up as she walked away she said who helped you (in Sierra Vista? It kind of startled me because of her tone. So I didn’t answer quick enough. She said never mind we can find it. So then she came back my ask if I needed anything else? I told her no thank you. You have a good day. I also told her just think you don’t have that much longer to work and you can go home.Must have been a long day for you. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I know we have to get to know each other. So I have to give them a chance. But remember customer service is a good thing. Hopefully things will get better.

  After dealing with a few different banks that made things complicated we are happy to be back in our home town and banking with ASCU they were extremely helpful when we were in the process of purchasing our first home! We needed to have statements sent ASAP a few times and they got it done and sent to us in a very short amount of time!

  I have been very happy with the great service I have received each and every time I have been to my Benson ASCU branch office. I always feel warm and welcome from the employees at my branch.

  The worst bank I've ever used. After ASCU verified my other bank account for transfers, they still managed to mix up my routing and account numbers and lose a transfer. There was another incident where I was given incorrect information regarding my account number that cost a reversal fee and the loss of a brokerage account. No apologies, no concern, and attempted to deflect all responsibility for their mistakes. This all took place within 1 month of opening this account. I rarely write negative reviews, but I don't want anyone getting burned by this bank if I can help it. I wish there were an option for anything lower than 1 star.

  I tried opening up an account for my sixteen year old daughter a few months ago. She's biracial and the first question I was asked is "is she your biological daughter?" Then the customer rep told us we couldn't open an acct due to cautions around money laundering and her age. We walked across the street to Bank of America and opened up an account for her with no problems.

  I really like the staff at ASCU, they've become friends and always take good care of me and my family. I won't go anywhere else.

  Absolutely the worst CUSTOMER service I have ever received, My wife and I were going to ad me to our already existing account, we were told that because it was a friday it was inconvenient for the teller to do this, even though the lobby was empty and there was another teller available who was not serving any CUSTOMERS. Poor CUSTOMER service such as this is completely unacceptable, if the teller didn't want to perform her job perhaps she should find a career in a completely different line of work, trucking companies are always hiring. Anyone reading this review is probably wondering why I am capitalizing CUSTOMER, simple, it is the CUSTOMER that keeps small credit unions like this in business, ASCU exists solely to serve CUSTOMERS and as such should not tell a CUSTOMER to bugger off, it's Friday.

  I call ahead to see if I can withdraw money: Oh yeah you can use the ATM. I get there: ATM is broken. Which is fine IF THEY WOULD TELL ME THAT WHEN I CALLED

  We are sorry for the inconvenience and miscommunication. Normally if someone calls to see if they can withdraw money it is because they are going to physically go into the branch because it is a high dollar amount or they want the face to face contact. ATMs are typically used to withdraw money so it didn't occur to our MSR to ask the question of how you were intending on withdrawing money. In the future we will ask more detailed questions to make sure we are giving people the correct information. Please call our Benson Branch Manager at 520-452-3118 if you incurred fees at another ATM in the Benson area. She can refund the fees for you since our ATM was down.

  Clicked the drive through button 4 times and the tube never came so I decided to pull to front walked in and there were two employees but one was in the back doing absolutely nothing happens all the time terribly managed.
