  Absolutely the best service I have ever had with a mortgage lender. From the start to the finish I was treated like I was the only one that mattered. Thanks Ed Loss for your timely responses to my concerns and being there when I needed you. You are the best in the biz!!!!! Also want to thank his processor Diane who was a pleasure to deal with from time to time!!

  Mitchell Chernock is very friendly and personable, but there were times where he did not outright answer my questions, because he often would get sidetracked by telling a story about himself or someone he knows. I submitted the documents he and his team requested of me as quickly as I could, but there were times when his team lacked good communication within their own unit. On multiple occasions, I had Mitchell and/or different team members contact me for documents that I had already uploaded into their online portal days ago and those documents hadn't been reviewed in that time; they were just sitting there. Without my and my husband's consent, Mitchell tried to charge us a fee in order to lower our interest rate. He acted like he was the one who was able to give us such a great interest rate, but in reality, we were the ones who gave ourselves the lower interest rate, because he was charging us to buy points, which is something that we had not discussed or agreed to. On our loan disclosure, he had additional fees and no lender credit towards us. When we questioned him on this, he said, "Well, I have a company to run and employees to pay." He did not seem to care that as his clients (who have stable jobs and incredible credit scores) we have a family to care for. We decided to consult with another lender Ben Swett (who is amazing and we HIGHLY recommend), and he pointed out all of the questionable items on our loan disclosure. Ben helped us negotiate with Mitchell, so that we can get a better deal. Something I feel we shouldn't have had to do in the first place as his clients. Also, from the beginning, I disclosed to Mitchell during a phone call and on our loan application that we would be gifted some money from my parents. He said that was fine and didn't give me any further instructions. We deposited the check from my parents, and it wasn't until we were close to wrapping everything up, Mitchell told us that we need a copy of the check, which we didn't have. We spoke with our bank, and they told us that our lender could retrieve a copy of the check faster than we could, so we emailed the bank's instructions on how to attain a copy of the check to Mitchell and his team. Mitchell called my husband and alluded to the fact that he can't get a copy of the check, because it was illegal for him to do it, even though our bank said he could get it. Two of Mitchell's team members contacted me and asked me to get a copy of the check, and that's when I finally told them of my dissatisfaction with their service and how they're constantly making us jump through hoops instead of helping us throughout this process. Not once has Mitchell apologized to me or my husband for his lack of professionalism and reluctance to help us. He continued to act cheerful and go on as if nothing was wrong, and he would repeatedly say how he's worked so hard to get us a great deal, but at that point, it all felt very fake and narcissistic of him. Another thing, through the majority of this process, he only contacted me and would leave my husband out on emails and texts. I addressed the issue by telling him that he needs to include my husband in all communication, because we're buying the house together and my husband needs to be in the know of what's happening. Mitchell continued to only contact me even if it was my husband who was reaching out to him via text or phone call. I'm definitely not satisfied with Mitchell's actions and service.

  Had the pleasure of working with Frank and his Team in processing my home mortgage. Can't say it went out a hitch, no fault of the American Pacific Team's. They handled the hiccups with great speed and efficiency. Already have my Brother working with them on his new home purchase and would recommend them again!

  Jenny is Conners assistant and is honestly THE BEST. Always helpful, always answers the phone when you call and is quick to act. You will NEVER get ahold of Conner and he will NEVER call you back. Ever. I know we are all busy and very important but come on... it was a very frustrating experience. From the beginning I had expressed multiple times that if possible I’d like to be in home in the 4th of January due to a new job starting. I was given a lot of false hope... I get it this stuff takes a long time. There are many people involved. But don’t say “ya it’s possible” then never tell me what’s going on.. I turned things in within minutes of receiving items and they on the other end took days-weeks to get processed. Deadlines where always drawn out. So good luck to you buying your new home!

  I have only worked with Garry, but he does an amazing job and works to build good relationships. He is trustworthy, always available, and always prompt. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a house.
