  I made an appointment to open up a checking account. I showed up on time and I was told to wait at the Starbucks, 25 minutes later no one bothered to check or update me about my appointment. Completely wasted my time. This is how they show how important you are to them...

  Been coming here 3 years doing shared branching my i.d was stolen in June I been using my backup i.d here with a hole in it for about 4 Months today they decide not too take when it doesn't expire until 2024 but again I've been coming here 3 years so now I'm some stranger the new lady ran to the manager after I told her I've been using my back i.d here 4 months no issues the manager decides too lie and say she told me she wouldn't take it I don't even know who this lady is if that's the case I wouldn't of came in today they deserve a 0 especially the fake smiles never again Alaska

  Usually a good place to do business with. This month I was not sent a mortgage bill. I've tried paying by phone but get stuck in a loop of needing my account number to pay which is on the statement i never received. Been trying to pay my damn mortgage for 5 days now. Oh well 👍

  An absolutely horrible place to get a loan if you plan on paying it off early. I called them, got my payoff amount that was good for 10 days. I paid it the same day. Called a week later to check if payme t went thru and they said i still owe them $6.15 I absolutely would not recommend this credit union. Go elsewhere unless you like giving your money away for no reason. If I wouldnt have called to check I would have never known I still owed them and it would have gone on my credit report as a late payment. Possibly to collections.

  I have had 8 (eight) separate loans through Alaska USA Credit Union and every one of them was fast, simple and went smooth. I have always been treated as if I am the most important client. They even gave me the check to take to the dealer for a loan I got for a sports car I bought out of state. Great people and great service!! Mick Perry Two Dragons Karate

  I just want to put it out there that this branch is inside of Safeway on Canyon Road. I've found that all of the branches I've been to are inside Safeway stores. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this branch. The people I talked to here were very helpful, polite/courteous, friendly, and comprehensive with the info they provided. Easily 5 stars from my point of view.

  Customer service is solid at this location. Alaska Federal does some things online very well and others not so much. They helped me order some coinage I needed where other institutions would not. Thanks!😀

  Ridiculous how they two employees have allowed the line to grow to 8 people while they are helping the same two people for the past 17 minutes. This is ridiculous, unorganized and a giant waste of time to pay a simple bill.
