  Background: I have been an investor for 23 years. At one point I owned 35 apartments so let's just say that I have been around the block, and I have gotten dozens of mortgages in my life from all sorts of banks - big and small. The people at Accolend, specifically Rob and Boris, were among the most competent, and easiest to deal with that I have worked with in my investing life. They were helpful, they presented my options clearly, and we got the loan done in time for me to close a great deal on a 3 family property in Essex County. We are now working on 3 other deals, and they are never hard to reach, and they are always helpful when I need any guidance. I can't recommend them enough.

  This company is a joke. Unprofessional and could care less about staying on the original timeline they promise. They were actually upset at us for being annoyed at them that it took two weeks longer than they had originally promised. Ended up switching to another lender and they were able to close the deal for us. A lot of other better companies out there

  Dear Kevin, last time we had communication with you was in September 2019 which was more than a year and a half ago. Looking at our notes – we were ready to go but were delayed by an Appraisal Management Company which we stopped using following what happened with your loan. Unfortunately, delays by AMC are probably our biggest challenge as we aim to close deals fast. We apologized and accepted responsibility 1.5 years ago and apologies again. We hope that at some point we can put it behind us as we are a different company vs what it was so long ago.
