He not only made us feel comfortable and protected, he made the entire process so easy! He is AMAZING and we couldn't have done it without him!!

  Dave Richardson provides excellent customer service and got us a better rate and deal on closing costs then Navy Federal could even do! He was extremely responsive to phone calls, texts, and emails. He made the process effortless for us, and we cannot thank him enough! We would definitely recommend Dave to anyone buying a house!

  I worked with Steve Ratchford during my process and he is by far the best person to work with. I had gotten a quote for rates and what I might be able to afford from a few different lenders. Steve always made sure to keep me updated and informed about my loan. I was a first time homebuyer but Steve said it was more beneficial to go with an FHA loan because I would save more money compared to first time home buyers loan. Steve is super friendly and amazing to work with!! I highly suggest working with Steve or his partner David Richardson. They are both friendly and always have your best interest in mind when you are trying get a loan for your home. I started my process back in April of 2019 and closed in November of 2019. Once I officially closed both Steve and David were overjoyed for me! My time with Steve made this whole processes so much easier than I could have ever hoped for. If you are looking to buy a new home I highly recommend working with Academy Mortgage, you won’t regret it one bit!

  The issue with google review is that it only goes to five stars. Steve should easily get 6, if not 7. Steve is awesome at his job and will get you the best rate he can. He is a genuine, call you back on his vacation, always putting you first, type of guy. He is always there when you need him. I would recommend no one else to help you through this experience of getting a loan for the biggest investment of your life. If I ever need to do this again, Steve will be my guy.

  Very good. They are definitely on top of things. Steve is great to work with and can be reached very easily. He keeps you informed throughout the entire process. Makes the mortgage process easy and very straight forward with information towards your buying/refinancing items. Would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

  My husband and I reached out to Dave Richardson regarding a refinance loan and he was pleasant & very informative throughout the entire process. He explained the refinance process clearly, is very straight forward and made the process go very smoothly. Clean cut process! Highly recommend everyone to use his service!

  Steve was great!He explained everything thoroughly and he was always available. Steve also gave me his cell phone number and advised me to call him any time I needed anything,I've never had anyone that cared about his customers like Steve Ratchford.Steve definitely gets 5 stars, but he deserves more stars than that.   As a real estate agent, loan officers and companies constantly attempt to gain our business by visiting our offices and providing us with pens and coffee cups then don't provide customer service or commitment which ends with frustration for the client and embarrassment for the agent. Steve Ratchford has been my go-to loan officer for every transaction where a client asks me to recommend someone, which is many. He is well informed about loan guidelines, rates and loan programs and has a down to earth approach that everyone appreciates. He is prompt to return phone calls and emails and goes the extra mile ascertaining information or meeting clients in person to suit their schedules. I have even utilized his services on a personal basis with 3 transactions and have without reservation recommended that family members utilize his services. Along with stellar service, Steve accomplishes this work with a friendly, positive attitude and I, along with everyone else, agree he is an absolute pleasure to handle your real estate loan.
