An hour later, I noticed the wind chime discarded on a chair still in their box. Once again, I approached the man and asked for them to be hung. He said he “would need to go look for a stand,” I said “I would appreciate that.“ He got even more rude with me and asked me if “I wanted to hang them myself?!?” I said I would be happy to if he provided me a stand. He then said, “look, they will get hung up at some point” and turned his back to me. I have never been to a more poorly-run funeral home that lacked in compassion in my life. I can tell you now, the funeral homes in my town are run with empathy and class. I was appalled at how Banks & Beals was run. I hope we never have to return here."
