Oddly, there are businesses who are not subject to this hold. I restate that the funds are from a government agency therefore there is little to no risk of the check bouncing. My business, however, is not important enough to Jeremy or the credit union therefore I will be taking it elsewhere. What a silly way to lose a customer as a bank - “you are depositing too much money and we refuse to work with you based on the circumstances.” As a business person, I know that the number one rule is "The customer needs to know that you care." Unfortunately, Jeremy does not agree. The ladies at the front desk are great, however. They deserve a raise."
